Hi Antony, we're so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
I love this question. This is the most important thing to start a business. I've been in sales for over 10 years and what is the most common thing in sales? Is that you will be facing tons of no's each day. That's how I develop my confidence and self-esteem. Only you believe in yourself can make others believe in you. As long as you believe the product you build is good for the world. It will sell itself.
Great, so let's take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

Idea born — In 2017, Antony Chang went to a budget restaurant in San Francisco in order to save money. However, after the meal, he found that his vehicle had been towed, costing him $500 to get it back. This turned what was supposed to be an economical meal into an expensive experience. Frustrated, he noticed vacant private driveways nearby, sparking the idea for Xtraspots — a platform connecting home and property owners with drivers to leverage unused parking spaces, providing convenience and passive income for property owners.

Product — Xtraspots is dedicated to revolutionizing urban mobility and fostering sustainable cities. Since 2023, our platforms, "Xtraspots Xchange" and "Xtraspots for Merchants," offer stress-free, on-demand solutions for seamless parking, expanded EV charging, and new income opportunities for property owners and merchants.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

The 3 most important knowledge to build to me would be 1. Team Building 2. Clear Picture of what business model is 3. Build the product.

Finding right person who believe in your vision is more important than their ability or skill. To start a company is to believe in the same goal and make it work. Knowing how you make money from it as well as what are the feedback from your customer.

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
My parents are most important people to support my entrepreneurial adventure. They encourage me to learn more knowledge by reading more book and hands on. Failure is not a shame but you have to learn from it; Whenever I am lost they always stand on my back so I have no hesitation to follow my heart to grow my business.
